Nolte Names New Associates
Associates are partial owners of the firm, serve on Nolte's Leadership Council, and assist the principals in managing firmwide operations and planning. They are selected on the basis of their dedication to the philosophy of the company, performance, and effectiveness in serving our clients and working with other team members.
Raul Laborin out of our San Jose office has been promoted to associate. Raul is an engineering manager in the civil resources group with over 14 years of experience in the fields of civil and structural engineering. A registered engineer, Raul is an experienced project engineer with technical experience in the areas of transportation, public works, and land development projects.
Jay Radke operates out of our Sacramento office. Jay is a registered engineer and a LEED accredited professional specializing in land development engineering and urban roadway master planning and design. His project experience includes management and design for rural and urban subdivision improvements, major infrastructure improvements, and a wide variety of small to major commercial development projects.
Roger Miller has also been promoted to associate. Roger is the managing director of Nolte's Colorado Springs office. Roger has over 24 years of experience in the area of Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering projects. In this position Roger oversees the efforts of over 20 personnel working on projects for public and private entities. One of Roger's current focuses is to help build Nolte's Downtown Revitalization and Reconstruction practice building off of recent work completed in Colorado Springs, Fountain and Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Paul Robotta is one of our new associates. Based in San Diego, he is a professional land surveyor who also holds a JD Law degree from the Jefferson School of Law. He joined the Nolte firm nearly 20 years ago. His background includes being the surveyor in charge of construction staking for grading, utility lines, roads, and building pads. He has participated in the surveying of major utility transmission lines in San Diego and Imperial Counties as well as providing surveying services for subdivisions and high-rise structures.
Dale Harvey has also been promoted to associate. He is a professional land surveyor and the managing director of our Inland Empire office. He has over 25 years of land use planning, civil engineering, and surveying experience and has been responsible for the planning and site design of numerous premier master planned communities for residential and commercial/industrial projects. He has also been involved in major public development and public works projects.
James Bagwell is the surveying manager in Nolte's Salt Lake City office. He is also an associate of the firm. He has over 20 years of experience in survey mapping, boundary research, ALTA preparation, topographic mapping and control, and construction staking for residential and commercial land development projects. He also has experience with design and construction surveys for transportation projects.
Paul W. Smith is our survey manager for our Denver office and an associate of the firm. He is a professional land surveyor with licenses in five states. He has more than 25 years of surveying experience, with a background in the project management of construction surveying, boundary surveying, and right of way acquisition. As survey manager, Paul coordinates and supervises the activities of four survey crews in addition to office survey personnel.
