| Nolte Names New Associates and Principals Nolte Associates, Inc. announces the appointment of Brent Morgan and Julian Palacios to Associate and Dino Bakkar, John Radcliffe, Kanda Raj and Paul Robotta to Principal. Associates and Principals are partial owners of the firm, are charged with fostering the technical and managerial abilities of the firm's staff, and assist, to varying degrees, in managing firm-wide operations and planning. Dino Bakkar is an engineering manager who leads the program and construction management practices in Colorado Springs, CO. He has 18 years of program management, design and construction management experience emphasizing transportation, public works and land development projects. Bakkar is currently managing a long-term, capital improvement program with multiple projects for the City of Colorado Springs. Brent Morgan is an engineering manager with Nolte's civil design/land development group in Salt Lake City, UT. With eight years of civil engineering experience, he has managed and designed a variety of water, stormwater, and sewer utility systems for various site development projects. With a keen understanding of the interconnectivity of site-specific design with regional drainage and water systems, Morgan's experience has focused on master planning, hydraulic modeling of water systems, and the design of detention basins and secondary water storage ponds. Julian Palacios is an engineering manager in Nolte's San Diego, CA water group. With nine years of experience, he has provided planning, engineering design, construction services and feasibility studies for a variety of water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Palacios has located and secured funding to finance multiple infrastructure projects in Southern California. His ability to creatively solve project issues has generated significant savings to his clients. John Radcliffe has 17 years of professional experience in the design and engineering of residential land development, commercial development, industrial development, transportation improvements and flood control measures. As director of the Colorado Springs, CO office, Radcliffe manages and mentors a multi-disciplined staff, ensures client needs are met and deliverables are of the highest quality, and manages business operations. Kanda Raj is an engineering manager who leads Nolte's transportation practice in Northern California. With 19 years of experience in roadway design, program management, construction management, traffic safety and maintenance of highway facilities, he is adept in the design and expedited delivery of complex highway and roadway projects. Raj is currently involved in several high-profile projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Caldecott Tunnel improvement, State Route (SR) 4 bypass, SR4 East widening, I-680 auxiliary lanes and I-80/I-680/SR 12 interchange. Paul Robotta is a survey manager for Nolte's San Diego, Palm Desert and Yucca Valley offices. During his 31 years of surveying experience, he has managed large boundary, mapping and utility projects, along with ALTA preparation, topographic mapping, geodetic control, and construction staking for a variety of public and private clients throughout Southern California. Robotta's professional approach to project management and staff development promotes high quality work and value added services for Nolte's clients.
