Nolte Associates Names New Vice President
Linda Hoffmann has been promoted to Vice President (she is also Managing Director of Nolte's Fort Collins, Colorado office). As Vice President, Linda Hoffmann will assist in everything from building and sustaining the office she manages, to resource allocation, financial planning, and budgeting.
Senior Vice President Ken Rudolph says, "In most cases you find that people in our field are more attuned to the technical aspects of the business. With Linda, she knows the technical side, but she has another incredibly valuable skill - she's exceptionally keyed in to the community." Hoffmann admits her favorite projects are those involving community members. "I enjoy helping people who are not accustomed to the complex system of development. This type of community work isn't hands-on engineering but is complementary in a very important way and truly allows us to offer full service to our clients." It also allows Hoffmann to work on an issue close at heart -- the implementation of sustainable design principles. "It's an objective at Nolte to approach projects in a slightly different way and embrace or implement the sustainable concept. It's something I have a genuine interest in. I was raised on a farm in Kansas, so for me, land is the core resource."
