Nolte Names Mauricio Lam as El Centro Office Director

Nolte Associates, Inc. has named Mauricio Lam as Director of their El Centro office. Lam will oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary team in developing sustainable engineering solutions for civil infrastructure projects. He will also play a vital role in joining Nolte’s Southern California and Mexico operations together for the execution of key projects.

Lam, a professional engineer, brings 22 years of civil engineering and management experience to his new role. Lam joined Nolte in 2002 as an Engineering Manager responsible for leading engineering design projects in the areas of land development, public works, and construction management.

Mauricio brings to the position a wealth of experience in various leadership roles, including as an Associate of the firm. His strong connections in the Imperial Valley and Mexicali, relationships with clients and staff, and knowledge of the marketplace form a strong foundation for success of his new role,” said George S. Warner Engineering Joins Nolte

Nolte Associates, Inc. announced today that Warner Engineering has joined Nolte, effective August 10, 2007. The merger adds approximately 50 employees to Nolte’s growing southern California operations and will enable them to serve clients from two inland office locations.

“Warner Engineering has a well respected reputation for providing quality engineering, planning, and surveying services throughout the inland communities in southern California,” said George S. Nolte, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Nolte. “Like Nolte, Warner Engineering has defined their success with their clients and I anticipate the combined synergies will increase our ability to consistently deliver value to our clients.”

With the Warner merger, Nolte broadens their geographic reach in the civil engineering market. Warner Engineering was established in 1976 and will continue to serve clients from their offices in Palm Desert and Yucca Valley, CA.

“Joining Nolte allows our staff to continue to provide the superior service we’re known for and gives us the added opportunity to benefit from Nolte’s considerable resources,” said Warner Engineering principal William (Bill) H. Warner.

Nolte Wins the City of San Diego’s Recycler of the Year Award

Nolte Associates, Inc. has been awarded the Recycler of the Year award, the highest honor given by the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department’s (ESD) Waste Reduction and Diversion Awards Program.

The award is given to those businesses and organizations with the most comprehensive, innovative, and/or improved recycling programs. Nolte was honored with the recognition on June 7, 2007 at ESD and San Diego EarthWorks’ Very Important Planet (VIP) reception.

Nolte’s mission is to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for civil infrastructure projects. With more than 500 professionals in offices throughout the Western United States and Mexico, their “green” perspective defines all business aspects with the goal of having a minimal impact on the environment. Included in this effort are:

  • office recycling programs
  • environmentally friendly office supplies and practices
  • a hybrid vehicle fleet
  • energy-efficiency measures
  • a monthly newsletter distributed to employees that highlights sustainable projects and the accomplishments of each office
